Along with being a prolific studio musician/ producer in Chicago, John has performed with jazz greats Mel Torme and Louie Bellson as well as current smooth jazz star Steve Cole. With Soleil Moon, John had the chance to write and record with the London Symphony Orchestra and produce some of the best studio musicians in the world such as Michael Thompson, Ricky Peterson, Lenny Castro, Kenny Aronoff and jazz saxophonist Warren Hill. As an arranger/ producer, he has completed tracks for Richard Marx, Michael Bolton, and Edens Crush and has developed new artists for J Records (Clive Davis). Recently, John has written and produced songs for smooth jazz artists Nelson Rangell, Everett Harp and Nick Colionne. Two of the songs that John wrote, produced and mixed for Nick Colionne have reached #1 in Billboard Magazine. Johns’ masterpieces can currently be heard on Jazz radio worldwide. John is also one of the musical directors regularly chosen for the Jazz Cruise, LLC and is currently the keyboardist for Dennis De Young of Styx.
